Rx Murali is a highly experienced cricket coach with over 10 years of coaching expertise, specializing in batting and white-ball cricket. His coaching journey has been defined by his passion for developing cricketing talent, his strategic approach to the game, and his ability to adapt to modern cricket's ever-evolving demands. Holding a BCCI Level 3 coaching certification, Rx Murali has built a strong reputation in Indian cricket circles and has held several high-profile coaching roles across various levels of the sport. Currently, Rx Murali serves as the Head Coach (White Ball) for the Assam Cricket Association. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the development of the team, ensuring that players are well-equipped with the skills and strategies required for success in limited-overs formats. His expertise in white-ball cricket has made him a valuable asset to the team, as he focuses on creating dynamic game plans and fostering a positive team culture. Under his guidance, the Assam Cricket team has shown significant progress in their performance, benefiting from his tactical insights and player management skills. Rx Murali is also the Batting Coach for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women's team in the Women's Premier League (WPL). In this position, he has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented female cricketers, helping them fine-tune their batting techniques and preparing them for the high-pressure environment of the WPL. In addition to his work in white-ball cricket and the WPL, Rx Murali serves as the Head Coach of iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, a Tamil Nadu-based franchise in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). His role with the Tamizhans has been crucial in developing and guiding local talent to perform at their best in one of India’s most exciting regional T20 leagues. His deep understanding of the T20 format, combined with his focus on building a cohesive and confident team, has seen the Tamizhans improve their performances under his stewardship. Rx Murali’s expertise extends to his role as a Faculty Member at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, where he is part of the coaching team for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). As an NCA faculty member, he works with the country's top young talent, shaping the next generation of Indian cricketers. His work at the NCA involves not only coaching but also mentoring players, helping them build both the technical and mental skills required to succeed at the highest levels of the game.
